Honors Program

Advising Resources

Undeclared Students

All students in the Honors Program who have not yet declared a major must be advised by either the Director or Associate Director of the Honors Program before registering.

You must choose a major by the spring of your sophomore year.  If you haven’t declared a major by the time you have 60 credit hours, you will not be able to register.  We encourage you to choose a major before these official deadlines.  Delaying your choice may interfere with your ability to graduate on time and may prevent you from receiving timely specialized advice and information about your major.

You may wish to explore a number of different courses before declaring a major. Please see either the Director or Associate Director of Honors before registering for classes each semester. You must take a minimum of 12 credit hours each semester while you are taking Honors classes in order to remain in the program.
