If a student leaves Honors before completing the Program, but remains at Mason, the following is recommended:Equivalencies of Honors Courses (HNRS) to Requirements in the University General Education Program Approved by the Honors Program Executive Committee February 17, 2006
*This means that a student must complete the Honors curriculum in its entirety to fulfill this requirement. If a student leaves the program before completion, he/she must complete a course in the university general education list to fulfill this requirement. **Both courses taken together during the second semester of the first year. ***A student who leaves the program before completion must select one of these courses to fulfill the requirement. That course may then not be used to satisfy any other requirement. In other words, an Honors course in this category may fulfill only one university general education requirement. |
